Transitory pain, itching and swelling are normal responses to stings, but allergic reactions can cause more severe local reactions or generalized systemic reactions which is severe and dangerous such as throat swelling, with a feeling of throat tightness and obstructed air flow.

The first AID is injection of Epinephrine. Symptoms can also be improved with antihistamines, anti-acid medicines known as “H2 blockers,” and corticosteroids such as prednisone. If you feel sweating, Wheezing, difficulty breathing, Nausea, Swelling of the lips contact ambulance immediately! If you have antihistamines take it!
