Hi! Can somebody recommend me good herbs and supplements for treating PCOS and balancing hormones?
Eat foods low on the glycemic index and glycemic load list, and diet high in cellulose; Take cod liver oil which’s a rich source of omega-3 vitamins. It helps to balance weight and hormones. Maca works to balance estrogen and progesterone in the body which may help to encourage a healthy menstrual cycle. The taste of maca root blends well when added to a fruit smoothie, oatmeal, or cereal =)
To what david 93 suggested, I would add Calcium, Vitamin D, Chromium, Vitex (Chaste Tree Berry) and Licorice root. All those things can help promote hormonal balance. But make sure to check your hormonal levels regularly.
